Organic Chemistry

Organic chemistry isn’t just a subject for me—it’s a beautifully logical language of molecules that I fell in love with during my undergrad, masters and PhD days, every single day for 10 years. The way reactions follow patterns, the predictability of mechanisms, and the elegance of molecular transformations captivated me and still does to this day.

I started teaching Organic Chemistry in grad school as a Teaching Assistant at Michigan State University, and it quickly became more than just a job—it became a passion. Over five years, I taught multiple chemistry courses, refining my teaching approach to make complex concepts easier to grasp. My dedication to students and their learning experience was recognized when I received the Best TA Award twice—moments that reaffirmed my calling.

Meet Your Tutor — Dr. Arzoo Chhabra

Hi, I’m Dr. Arzoo Chhabra — a PhD in Organic Chemistry, two-time teaching award winner, and your go-to tutor for mastering Orgo without the overwhelm.

With over 6 years of teaching and tutoring experience, I’ve worked with hundreds of students — many of them pre-meds — Orgo can feel like a different language. But with the right structure, clear explanations, and targeted feedback, it becomes manageable — and even fun.

I specialize in breaking down complex concepts, identifying your gaps quickly, and giving you strategies to not just survive the class — but actually excel at it. Whether you’re refreshing your Orgo-1 before the semester starts, retaking the class, or trying to stay ahead, I’ll meet you where you are and take you where you need to go.

This isn’t about cramming the night before your exam. It’s about building real confidence and long-term understanding so you don’t have to take the class twice. My students usually get A’s — not just because they work hard, but because they finally get the right kind of support.
