Welcome to My First Blog
This is the mindset section of the blog.
Here, I write more about how to achieve the results we are actually seeking in life.
Although the principles described here are applicable to entrepreneurs, scientists, athletes, and performers from all major walks of life, I will keep them focused on students as much as I can.
So let’s talk about grades.
What is it that we are truly achieving by wanting to be a top student, a high-achieving student, or the perfect scorer?
I was like that, don’t get me wrong. It’s the desire to be seen as special, to be seen as capable, and to be seen as someone who has made it.
And there is nothing wrong with that.
However, let’s pause and ask: why wait to see yourself as capable, competitive, and special only when you get the degree you want or the grade you want?
What if your baseline is capable, competitive, and special?
What if there was never a question about it?How would you live your life differently?
How would you show up differently to your texts and textbooks? If some of your brain’s energy was not going toward wondering, worrying, or questioning yourself, how much brainpower would you actually save—and then be able to invest, redirect, and channel into something else?
You might add a hobby to your life. You might start to eat better. You might start to exercise.
You might even get more proficient at your work and studying.
So, it’s all fun and games, and we know it’s possible to live and exist this way.
However, the real question is:
How do we rewire our brain to actually start embodying a more powerful way of being?Yes, you read this post today, and the effect might linger for a few hours. But tomorrow, you’ll be back to the same default.
And how do I know that?
Because I was like that for years—until I actually learned the tools that brought about permanent change in my life. Not the kind of change that lasts for a year or two.
Not that kind of change. The kind of change that helps you connect more to yourself—tools that bring you back to your center.
So when you drift away, you know how to return.
You can remind yourself of your power.
You can step into the endless, amazing potential you hold within.
You can believe in it. Trust it. Operate from that center. That’s when anything you do expands you into a higher version of yourself.
And when you consistently do that, you create amazing results in your life—not just amazing grades.
So what are these tools, and how do we go about using them?
I’m going to share one of the most powerful tool here first.
In subsequent blog posts, I’ll share every possible secret that you can actually use in your life.
So here we go: VISUALIZATION
(Yes, this sounds so simple—“Visualize yourself as a doctor and boom!” But you still aren’t a doctor yet…)
However, most people don’t get it right.
Let’s talk about why first, and then talk about how to actually incorporate it into your life.-
- People aren’t being consistent with it.
-
- People are visualizing, but not really seeing themselves in it.
-
- People are visualizing, but not believing in themselves—the true make-believe is missing.
-
- People are not imagining their future lives vividly—the details are missing.
So let’s get into it.
Visualization. Close your eyes.
Visualize your desired future.
Where are you? What are you doing? If you are a doctor, what kind of doctor?
What kind of conversations are you having with your patients?
What kinds of conversations are you having with your colleagues? When you go back home, how do you feel?
How do you wrap up your day?
How proud do you feel of this lifestyle? Now let’s focus on the feeling state. It should move you.
This feeling state should fill you with energy and excitement.
When you come out of this visualization, you have to get up as a different person—a more evolved person who has already experienced the future. And you must do this and prioritize it on a daily basis if you’re serious about deliberately creating the life of your dreams.
However, if you don’t connect with being a doctor and it’s only your parents who want you to become one, then that’s a longer conversation—one I’ll cover in another blog or vlog post.
Until then… Visualize away!!
